What is the most thankless job in the NHL?

A wise man (the late, great Rodney Dangerfield) once said that he "didn't get any respect". Surely if he had one of the many positions in the NHL that doesn't get as much publicity as deserved, I'm sure he would feel the same way. Speaking of which, what is the most thankless job in the league today?
