Its impossible to kill others unless you regard them as unegual. Industrially, the British were more advanced and had more sophisticated weapons than others and on that basis alone they managed to rob, pillage and murder on a vast scale. So, don't confuse jealousy with a retributive form of contempt on the part of others.
