False. They'll never forget you. You will just have two ferrets demanding attention is all. Ferrets actually do best with a companion or two. They usually get very depressed and bored when they don't have a partner. I have 5 ferrets currently and they chase me all around their bedroom (they have their own bedroom, yes.) They always want to play and I think they are happy they have each other too.
