My Dazzle DVC 100 Platinum won't work?

I am using it to record my Xbox 360 game play. I am using splitters to view on TV too so i can see what i am playing. I have put the splitters into the Dazzle, and everything is wired up (Xbox normal cables into one end of each splitter, and a 3sided male to male in other splitter piece, which leads to TV. I can now get TV vision, but my Pinnacle Studio says "No valid Input Signal detected. Please check your cables" Help!
