Why are people blaming NBC News?

I sympathize with these families, but some of them are cancelling their appearances on NBC because they released the Cho video. Every single other network, including CBS, FOX, ABC, CNN are doing the same thing. NBC deserves no blame because this nut case mailed that trash to them. If they hadn't released it, the speculation would have been rampant.
